Eversight Dashboard
Overview
Eversight is a promotion and pricing testing platform for manufacturers and retailers. While the product provided strong offer-testing capabilities, it lacked a way to surface broader insights that could demonstrate long-term value. To address this, I designed a dashboard that transformed raw data into clear, actionable guidance, helping users understand what makes an offer successful and where to focus next.
- Role
- I led end-to-end design for this initiative, including research, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design. I collaborated closely with product and engineering stakeholders to ensure the solution was both powerful for advanced users and approachable for non-technical decision-makers.

The Challenge
At the time, Eversight’s product primarily focused on offer testing. While effective in its narrow scope, this created a perception gap for customers who struggled to see long-term business value. As a result, the company faced retention challenges and needed a way to demonstrate impact beyond individual experiments.
The design challenge was clear: how might we create a dashboard that surfaces meaningful insights while remaining accessible across a range of users, from analysts to executives?

Users
Revenue Growth Manager (Primary)
They are responsible for identifying what has worked in the past, testing new ideas, generating guidelines and working with the sales team to integrate guidance into the plan.
Sales Team
They are responsible for implementing new offers, managing relationships with retailers, and working with the Managers to integrate guidelines.
How might we increase customer value and conversions to boost our value and lower customer turnover rate?
Research & Insights
To ground the design, I conducted a review of comparable data-heavy products, including Google Analytics and Tableau. I also examined how customers presented results in their own slide decks to understand what they valued most when communicating outcomes internally.
Key takeaways included:
- Data density needed to be balanced with clarity.
- Users wanted benchmarks to compare performance over time.
- Executives valued quick, high-level insights, while analysts required flexibility to dig deeper.

Customer Statements
Eversight hosts an annual seminar called “Revenue Roundup” for retailers and manufacturers to learn about the new advancements in their industry. There are several field research opportunities through informal conversations and Q&A panels. While I was not able to attend this event firsthand, design conducted a synthesis workshop with those who attended to identify key themes.

Themes
I used customer statements from the Revenue Roundup seminar to help inform a strategy for the dashboard design. The competitive research helped to influence a direction for information architecture and data storytelling.

Performance metrics can provide the most direct insight into profitability.

Identifying guideline compliance cut costs and help our customers be more efficient.

Simplified data is easier to consume and output for external use.
Design Exploration
I explored multiple directions ranging from highly data-dense layouts to more simplified, approachable visuals. These explorations tested different approaches for:
- Summarizing business performance against planned goals.
- Highlighting top-performing offers and areas for improvement.
- Suggesting potential next steps through new offer opportunities.
These explorations helped the team align on a design direction that balanced power with approachability.
Final Design
The final design of the dashboard provides our users with a more complete picture across their promotional landscape, setting the foundation for how Eversight could evolve into a full-service promotional platform.
Performance
Provides insight into how the business is performing against its plan empowering them to make adjustments where necessary.
Compliance
Allows RGMs to identify underperforming sales managers and products.
Testing Opportunities
Identify which previous offers could benefit from running a test.
Top Recommendations
Helps identify and prioritize new offers to run.
Recent Activations
Displays how their most current in-market offers are performing.

Outcomes
While this project began as a vision exercise, it provided a critical proof point that shaped Eversight’s roadmap. The dashboard concept clarified how the company could deliver value beyond individual tests, directly addressing retention challenges and expanding its positioning as a holistic promotional tool.
